Captain Ron was commissioned a Marine Corps Officer upon completion of his college studies in 1963.  He successfully completed a course of study at the Naval Flight Training Command - Pensacola, Florida in May 1965.  Designated a Naval Aviator, he went on to fly a combat tour in Viet Nam in 1966 - 1967.   Upon completing his active Marine Corps service in 1968, he joined Delta Air Lines as a Flight Officer.  During a 32 year career he was responsible for the safe operation of both domestic and international flights.  Capt. Ron retired in 2000 as an International Captain.        In 2003, Capt. Ron established a " Power Boat Handling School".  Offering  instructional assistance to boating families aboard their personal watercraft. Boat control and safety are the primary goals stressed throughout the course of instruction.

 Ron's boating experience began at the age of 12 on the waters of Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay.  Over the past 50 years he has owned, or operated sail and power boats up to 150 feet in length, and has extensive experience cruising the New England coast with family, friends, and clients. 

Captain Morin holds a United States Coast Guard Master's License - designated to operate vessels up to 100 tons out to 200 nautical miles.

• Certified  classroom instructor through the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA).  
• Certified  powerboat-handling-instructor through  US/SAIL & it's affiliate, US/ POWERBOAT. 
• Trained in the Chapman School of Seamanship (Large-Boat-Handling Program.) 
• Massachusetts Environmental Police certified classroom instructor.
• Since the establishment of Capt. Ron's Powerboat Handling Instruction; over 300 students have benefited from his instruction.
