CAPTAIN'S BACKGROUND

 

Captain Morin joined Delta Air Lines in 1968 after serving his country as a helicopter pilot in the US Marine Corps. During his 32 year career he was responsible for the safe operation of both domestic and international flights.  
 
Early in his tenure as a Delta captain, he was afforded the opportunity to perform line-operation-training for active pilots; ensuring their conformance to FAA and company procedures. In the several years that he performed in this role; he was responsible for training over 250 pilots. Captain Morin retired from Delta Airlines in 2000.
 
 
 

Captain Morin holds a United States Coast Guard Merchant Marine Officer License.

 

  • Certified  classroom instructor through the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA).  
  • Certified  powerboat-handling-instructor through  US/SAIL & it's affiliate, US/ POWERBOAT. 
  • Trained in the Chapman School of Seamanship (Large-Boat-Handling Program.) 
  • Massachusetts Environmental Police certified classroom instructor.
  • Since the establishment of Capt. Ron's Nautical Services; over 200 students have benefited from his powerboat-handling-instruction.
